Meet Our President And Owner, Cheryl
Cheryl Richmond is President/Owner and Founder of Dementia Support Specialist. She brings more than 30 years of healthcare industry experience to the table.
Cheryl attended Cardinal Stritch University and majored in Nursing and Sociology, but found herself naturally inclined to life enrichment activities. .
After successfully managing various Life Enrichment department at nursing homes and assisted living facilities, Cheryl went on to offer consultations and professional speaking to other activity professionals. Subsequently, she moved on to a successful career as an assisted living administrator.
Cheryl remains dedicated and passionate about providing care to people living with the symptoms with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. Being a resident advocate since the beginning, Cheryl requires the same level of commitment from her team.
Constantly finding out more ways to better serve those living with this horrid disease, Cheryl is grateful for the opportunity to help others live the best life possible.
